Job Overview
Pink Shell Resort are seeking a dedicated and conscientious Security Guard to join our team. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the safety and security of our guests, guest property, associates and resort per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous foot patrol of the entire property while maintaining communication with PBX, MOD, and other officers
• Responds to and investigates all Resort related accidents involving guests, associates, and property, and completes appropriate reports
• Investigates all criminal activity occurring on the property and inform the local police agencies as necessary
• Monitors associates who violate rules and standard operating procedures related to safety and security
• Provides escorts for cash banks and late-night associate's departure
• Audits departmental key check-ins and check-outs
• Handles lost and found items according to property policy
• Acts as a bellman/valet/engineer/housekeeper during hours when needed
• Assists guests in solving unusual problems
• Restricts the presence of the public in restricted resort areas
• Assists in training all new security staff
• Reports unsafe conditions to management
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules
• Knows departments and Resort fire prevention and emergency procedures
• Maintains a chronological log of activities and observations
• Assists all departments as needed to ensure quality guest service
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Skills

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

· Previous Security experience preferred

· Ability to work outdoors and walk the property

· Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid Training if not already certified

· Able to operate a golf cart and motor vehicle without restrictions

· Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
