We are currently recruiting for a High-Volume Construction Recruiter (Craft Recruiter) to join our Structural operations team. As a Craft Recruiter, your primary deliverable will be to support our construction field staffing needs by carrying out recruitment strategies that will aide in identifying, hiring, and retaining construction field employees. This role requires a professional who is results-oriented, has a passion for recruiting, is creative, and has a strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the Gulf Coast area operations with construction field staffing needs - partner with branch leadership to execute recruiting plans.
Assist team in accessing the pipeline of candidates for construction field technician (laborer).
Coordinate, and attend when appropriate, hiring events such as career fairs, interview days, etc.
Manage web-based recruiting campaigns for construction field hiring
Place ads/postings on various internet job boards, society and association websites, print advertisements, etc.
Research and identify new avenues/methods/sources for increasing craft candidate pool
Assist team in reviewing resumes and screening qualified candidates
Coordinate and facilitate telephone and/or in-person interviews
Participate in field operations leadership meetings, when appropriate, to understand staffing needs, build relationships with field operations leaders, and develop a deeper knowledge of the business
Assist team with on-boarding of newly hired craft
Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:
1-3 years of experience in a recruiting coordination, human resources assistant, or similar role
Experience using internet job boards, social media, industry associations, employment agencies, and career fairs for recruitment purposes
Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday
Possess the ability to develop strong credibility with the operations team
Strong communication skills
Travel 10% of time
