Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for executing daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping/receiving. This role supports the flow of goods through the warehouse and ensures that shipments are accurate, timely, and handled safely. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and ship customer orders, including domestic, international, and palletized shipments
  • Receive and inspect inbound inventory; verify quantities and report discrepancies
  • Put away inventory and perform transfers between locations
  • Conduct routine inventory cycle counts to maintain stock accuracy
  • Strive for 100% error-free execution in all shipping and receiving functions
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse by organizing supplies, restocking, sweeping, and trash removal
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and pallet stackers
  • Use basic computer applications for shipping, receiving, and inventory functions
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with warehouse colleagues and other departments
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

  • Warehouse experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and email communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience using warehouse software systems (WMS, ERP)
  • Knowledge of international shipping processes

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent standing, lifting, reaching, and bending throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when required
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to standard equipment such as pallet jacks and stackers
  • Compliance with all safety and cleanliness protocols

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

  • INS HQ – Richardson, TX (Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area)
