Requirements:

     Education/Experience/Skils

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or  an Associate's degree plus two years' relevant experience.

  • Working knowledge of Word Processing software (Google/Microsoft) and familiarity with Internet applications.

      Preferred:

  • At least two years of human resources experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with non-profit sector and human services organizations preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Human Resource Representative to serve as a resource for employees at every level of assigned program or administrative areas. Responsible for daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including acting as primary employee relations contact, administering leave, and interpreting company policies and practices.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Administers and executes human resource programs including but not limited to orientation, recognition and employee leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance management; productivity, occupational health and safety. Collaborates with relevant staff to implement compensation, benefits and training and development initiatives.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle to travel to agency program locations.
