Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex
  T-SQL
  queries, stored procedures, functions, and database objects.
• Work extensively with
  Snowflake
  using Tasks, Streams, Snowpipe, Time Travel, and performance tuning techniques.
• Support and implement
  Enterprise Data Framework (EDF/DCC, DCAF)
  components to ensure data governance, quality, and compliance.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines leveraging Snowflake utilities and cloud-native services.
• Integrate and manage secure configurations using
  AWS Parameter Store
  .
• Work with
  AWS cloud services
  including S3, RDS, EC2, IAM, and related data ecosystem tools.
• Support
  Data Lake
  environments, including ingestion, transformation, and partitioning of structured/semi-structured data.
• Use
  Autosys
  to schedule, monitor, and manage end-to-end enterprise workflows.
• Participate in and lead
  cloud data migration
  projects from legacy systems to Snowflake/AWS.
• Contribute to
  Snowflake migration
  initiatives by converting on-prem ETL processes, optimizing performance, and modernizing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Follow best practices for performance optimization, cost management, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10+ years of experience in
  SQL development
  , including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
• Strong hands-on expertise with
  Snowflake
  , including:
• Tasks
• Streams
• Snowpipe
• File formats (Parquet, JSON)
• Virtual Warehouses
• Clustering and micro-partitioning
• Working knowledge of
  Enterprise Data Frameworks
  (EDF/DCC, DCAF).
• Experience with
  AWS cloud native services
  :
• S3 for Data Lake storage
• RDS for database hosting
• EC2 for compute-based ETL processes
• Parameter Store for secure configuration management
• Expertise in
  ETL/ELT development
  with Snowflake utilities and integrations.
• Familiarity with
  Data Lake
  architecture and best practices.
• Working knowledge of
  Autosys
  scheduling and workflow orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with
  cloud data migration
  and
  Snowflake migration
  projects.
