RBT Site Manager
Developmental Brain Injury Services

Location: Easthampton, MA
Pay Range: See Details Below

Schedule: Second Shift

The RBT Site Manager plays a key role in supporting a clinically intensive, 24-hour residential program for adults with developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring mental health or medical diagnoses. This hybrid position integrates direct behavioral support, staff supervision, and site-level operational management to ensure a safe, therapeutic, and person-centered environment.

Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT Site Manager implements individualized behavior plans, promotes independence, and ensures fidelity to clinical and regulatory standards. This role also oversees daily operations, mentors and trains staff, and partners closely with the Program Director, clinical team, guardians, and families to support each individual's goals, safety, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical & Behavioral Support
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
  • Provide 1:1 and group support using ABA strategies.
  • Collect behavioral and program data and complete required documentation.
  • Assist with functional assessments, crisis plans, and BIP updates.
  • Use proactive and trauma-informed strategies to reduce challenging behavior.
  • Follow all clinical protocols and ensure BIP fidelity.
  • Site Management & Team Leadership
  • Supervise and support residential staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage and communicate needs to leadership.
  • Monitor staff implementation of behavior plans and data collection.
  • Train new staff and provide ongoing training at least twice per year.
  • Support RBTs and DSPs in understanding behavior plans and best practices.
  • Attend required meetings, supervision, and trainings.
  • Serve as a link between staff, clinical team, and families.
  • Resident Support & Engagement
  • Support daily living skills (ADLs), transportation, and community activities.
  • Promote independence, stability, and personal growth.
  • Encourage use of assistive technology for communication and safety.
  • Support social, recreational, and family activities.
  • Operational Compliance & Risk Management
  • Participate in ISP development and updates.
  • Complete incident reports and follow DDS risk management procedures.
  • Administer medications following MAP guidelines (with certification).
  • Follow all DDS, DMH, and agency documentation and training requirements.
    Support transitions to less restrictive settings when appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Required
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • RBT certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
  • Ability to maintain RBT ethics and supervision requirements.
  • PABC, MAP, First Aid, and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass CORI and background checks.
  • Preferred
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or brain injuries.
  • Experience in residential or clinically intensive programs.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and data-based decision-making.

Compensation Details: $21.57-$22.53

  • $19.57-$20.53/hr base +$2.00 differential when MAP Certified
