The MDM Product File Analyst is globally responsible for working with Service Centers, Field Management, Vendors, Product Management, Supply Chain, and IT to analyze data in order to maximize revenue and operating efficiency as it pertains to all material related master data and material price records. The Master Data Analyst will be involved in designing and enforcing Global Data Governance rules and standards to maintain data integrity, problem solving and resolution for an array of data related issues, and providing consulting expertise to business partners. Job Duties Work with supplier contacts and Product Management for information required to accurately and timely set-up, maintain, cleanse, and ensure all aspects of correct material master data, including the SAP material master, material price records, CMIRs, interchange records, PIRs, source lists, and consignment records, through agile analysis to drive efficient and effective sales processes. Perform root-cause analysis on master data inconsistencies and errors. Recommend and execute corrective action. Routinely audit data against established rule sets to ensure consistency and accuracy of information. Work with supplier contacts and business partners to resolve any discrepancies in data. Support SAP deployments across the company by ensuring the data cleansing meets the global and business specific standards. Identify process improvement opportunities to maximize revenue and operating efficiency. Help to develop standard procedures, user guides, and other necessary training and job aid materials. Provide training / coaching as needed. Assist in leading process standardization, data governance, cleansing activities, maintenance and data quality improvement efforts in alignment with data strategy goals. Play a key role with the design, testing, and implementation of new process and/or enhancements to the systems that support master data. Perform other duties as assigned or directed. Requirements Equivalent to a Bachelors degree in Business or related field preferred. Up to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent. Solid analytical & problem solving skills.
