Night Shift Nurse

Job Summary

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physiological status, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to identify changes or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Ensure proper management of medical records, including charting procedures, treatment notes, and incident reports.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, post-discharge instructions, and medication protocols with clarity and empathy.
• Adhere strictly to all healthcare policies, safety standards, and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and promote a secure environment.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license with current registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or clinical setting, preferably with night shift exposure.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical documentation practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy and data security.
• Excellent communication skills for clear documentation and effective interaction with patients and team members.
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and compassionate during overnight hours while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
