Cook – PRN

Position: Cook – PRN (Evenings)

Shift: 2:00pm-8:00pm | One weekend per month + flexible pick-up shifts

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cook (PRN) to support our culinary team during evening shifts. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility with the chance to work in a meaningful, resident-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and resident dietary needs
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines consistently
• Collaborate with Dietary and Nursing staff to support resident satisfaction
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and work areas after use

Schedule:

• 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
• Minimum of one weekend per month
• Additional pickup shifts are available based on availability and need

Qualifications:

• Previous cooking experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
