Reports To: Home Store Retail Director / General Manager
Status: Exempt (Salaried)
FT, PT, PRN: FT (40 hours w/benefits)
Shift: Days, Saturday Required, Variable Schedule

Pay Range: $21 - $23 per hour

Position Summary:
The Home Store Operations Manager provides excellent customer service not only to Home Store customers but to volunteers, staff, and donors at all times by creating an inviting and warm atmosphere. He/she will work closely with the Retail Director to provide proper coverage and support in the daily operations of Four Seasons Hospice Home Store. He/she will be well versed in total store operations to ensure a strong level of goal execution, and achievement. He/she supervises paid store staff and volunteers. He/she is responsible for maintaining Home Store standards through operations and organization of the store. He/she assists the Retail Director with annual budgeting, strategic planning, business plans, setting goals, and establishing steps to attain those goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Supports the Retail Director/General Manager with day-to-day activities and specific assignments as needed
- Know and reflect the local community in their Home Store's presentation and demographics
- Provide consistency, collaboration and unification among all Home Store locations
Direct the store with the guidance from the Retail Director/General Manager by supporting his/her vision for continued sustainability and growth
Work to achieve performance goals, pursue progress toward individual development plan (IDP) and demonstrate Four Seasons values and competencies
Ensure strong level of leadership and internal customer service with all staff and volunteers
Work to build relationships in our service areas to promote the store in order to increase donations and sales
- Work closely with the volunteer department to obtain new volunteers and to retain current volunteer base
- Ensure adequate staffing coverage by supervising paid staff and volunteers
- Open and close the store following defined procedures to include back-office accounting, processes and procedures
- Communicate information in a timely manner to store staff and volunteers and Retail Director
- Create inviting store environment (neat, clean and organized) to ensure a strong, pleasing and positive visual presentation of the sales floor to ensure high standards are met
