Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. In this vital role, you will foster a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, helping residents maintain their independence and quality of life.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation practices
Requirements
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home environments preferred but not required
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is encouraged; additional certifications such as CNA certification are a plus
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, alzheimers, or dementia is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and families
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents' well-being and quality of life
