Summary: X-Ray Technician provides expertise in X-Ray techniques, policies and procedures and works hard to support the entire clinic team with both X-Ray and Medical Assistant duties.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • As an X-Ray Technician you will perform timely and quality radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment.
  • Perform drug screens, urinalysis and other in-house lab tests including processing specimens for reference laboratories.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities including in-house lab work, drug screens, and x-rays sent out to other labs.
  • Works closely with the Center Administrator, Medical Staff, Front Office Specialist and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure occupational client's preferences followed and occupational procedures are adhered to.
  • Cross trained for front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out on computer, and of day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
  • May be required to work alternate shifts and may be required to float to other clinic locations. 
  • Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.
  • Assist with general patient care when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.  
  • Graduated from an accredited school of Radiological Sciences
  • Current state X-Ray License in active status (AZ, NV, CO and CA).  
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
  • Current First Aid/ CPR certification from recognized program (American Red Cross, etc.) required or completed within first 60 days of employment. 
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
