A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the spring semester at a K-12 school in the Atlanta area, starting January 7, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2026. This contract role involves direct therapy services, with a 35-hour weekly schedule (Monday through Friday) at one assigned school. The position requires strict adherence to the scheduled hours with no overtime permitted.
Key Qualifications And Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for Georgia
- Active Georgia Department of Education certification
- Experience providing direct therapy services in a K-12 school setting
- Must be an SLP; SLPA candidates will not be considered
- Commitment to working full-time for the entire contract period
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Location:
- One school in the Atlanta area (Centennial Academy)
- Central Atlanta location for easy commute
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and school requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Adhere strictly to the 35-hour weekly schedule with no overtime
