Window Treatment Installer

Job Overview
We're a growing window treatment dealership looking to bring on an experienced installer to join our small, dedicated team. This is a hands-on role with real opportunity to make an impact, help shape our processes, and grow with the business.

About the Role

You'll be responsible for installing custom window treatments in residential homes, with a focus on quality workmanship, professionalism, and consistency. Ideally, we're looking for someone who can also handle repairs (restringing, clutch replacement, troubleshooting), but we are open to strong installers who do not repair if the fit is right.

Most of our work is in Nassau County, with some jobs in Suffolk, Queens, and Westchester.

Responsibilities

• Measure windows precisely to ensure perfect fitments for all types of window treatments
• Install a wide range of window coverings such as blinds, shades, shutters, and curtains using hand tools and power tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to execute projects accurately
• Use fabrication skills to modify or customize window treatments as needed for specific spaces
• Handle heavy lifting of window treatment components safely and efficiently during installations
• Perform repairs or adjustments on existing installations to improve function or appearance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience installing window treatments (required)
• Repair experience is a strong plus, but not required
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Comfortable working independently and managing your day
• Professional demeanor with customers
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience with high-end or custom work is a plus
