Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to oversee and support construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and site experience, with proficiency in industry-standard software. This role involves collaborating with project teams, managing schedules, and ensuring projects adhere to timelines and budgets while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Duties

  • Coordinate and monitor construction activities to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software.
  • Assist in preparing construction scopes.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and RFIs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Oversee site operations to ensure safety protocols are followed and work progresses efficiently.
  • Track project progress through regular site visits and reporting, adjusting schedules as necessary.
  • Support contract administration processes, including review of contractual obligations and scope of work.
  • Utilize document review, markup, and collaboration on drawings and plans.
  • Ensure proper use of construction site management software for tracking progress, resources, and issues.
  • Assist with project management tasks such as resource allocation, time management, and risk mitigation.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft, Google Apps, and construction management software tools.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating, project scheduling, and contract administration preferably in the insurance reconstruction space.
  • Experience with construction site operations and safety protocols.
  • Excellent project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid understanding of construction management principles and best practices.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising between teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with contracts management and project documentation is preferred. Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55, $68,000.00 per year
