Catering Kitchen Support

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate culinary expert to join our catering and production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and catering with the ability to create memorable dining experiences for various events, as well as assisting in the continued growth of the catering department. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a commitment to high-quality food handling and preparation.

Duties

• Read through daily orders and accurately assemble, pack, and deliver orders to catering guests promptly and efficiently.
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
• Communicate with clients to confirm orders for following days and ensure that all necessary preparation is executed for the next day (i.e. folding boxes, filling beverages, assembling/packing bags with necessary utensils, etc)
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences while providing expert recommendations on menu options.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Work with Chef on new ideas, whether it be menu items, packaging, client handling, etc to create new, more efficient systems and workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in catering or restaurant management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and culinary arts.
• Experience in menu planning and banquet service is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• A passion for creating exceptional dining experiences that delight guests.

Pay: $ $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
