Title: Packaging Floor Coordinator - 2nd shift
Shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am - Monday - Friday
Department: Packaging
Reports To: Packaging Administration Supervisor
Packaging Floor Coordinator Position Purpose and Objectives.
Responsible for the preparation of the production lines, coordination and checking of picked materials, and review of inventory and paperwork upon completion of the process order.
Floor Coordinator Essential Job Functions.
- Must follow all GMP's and relevant SOPs.
- Responsible for supplying all required documentation prior to production line set-up and release.
- Responsible for presenting pick slips (BOM) to the warehouse clerk for all scheduled process orders, and ensure packaging components are pulled and staged for the packaging operation.
- Responsible for documenting work order status (completions, partials, hold, etc.).
- Responsible for reconciling and closing process orders, in addition to justifying excessive waste (above standard).
- Responsible for reviewing production reports and reporting issues to supervisor.
- Responsible for accurate creation and approval of master shipper labels per customer requirements.
- Responsible for documenting regular and temp employees' attendance for labor hour's purpose on a daily basis.
- Miscellaneous data collection and reporting as required by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required.
- Must be able to understand and apply product specification information to the packaging operation.
- Must be able to understand and comprehend verbal work instructions in English.
- Must have good general computer skills and ability to use the SAP system.
- Exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills.
- Exhibits good listening, mathematical, and comprehension skills.
- Displays problem solving skills and willingness to make decisions and explains reasons.
Supervisory Responsibility.

Working Conditions.
- Decision making environment, strong interaction with supervisors and team leaders.
- A dynamic and fast paced environment. Rapid response to a given task is essential.
- Able to lift 30 lbs. on average, individual is responsible for seeking assistance when handling objects in excess of 30 lbs. (less than 10% of the time).
- Must be able to use label counter machine for reconciliation purposes.
Minimum Qualifications.
- High school or equivalent; some college a plus.
- Packaging line operation experience.
- Must have adequate verbal communication, math, and reading skills.
