Diesel Mechanic

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Check oil/fluids of vehicles on property

-Review Vehicle inspection forms for the prior & current day, making repairs within capability

-Inspect tires/brakes

-Inspect windshields, lights, heaters, AC, valves, etc

-Verify all license plates and DOT inspections are current

-Verify hoses, fittings, etc. are present, adequate quantity of each, and are in proper working order

-Maintain safe and clean working environment

Required Knowledge & Skill:

-Valid drivers license (CDL w/ HAZAMAT preferred )

-Prior diesel mechanic experience preferred

-Sense of urgency and time management skills

-Self-sufficiency

-Positive attitude

-Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to lift 50lbs regularly

-Requires frequent walking, climbing, standing, listening, talking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and push/pulling

-Required to have clarity of vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

• Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (CDL & Hazmat preferred) (Required)
