Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting the culinary team and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

• Previous experience in a culinary or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel operations is a plus, enhancing your ability to adapt quickly in a hospitality-focused role.
