Service Writer/Technician

Join our growing team at Advanced Maintenance, a professional and fast-paced truck and diesel repair facility. We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Service Writer who excels at customer service and is comfortable working with computers and shop management software.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the liaison between customers and technicians
• Create, update, and manage repair orders in our software system
• Accurately document customer concerns, repair diagnostics, and services performed
• Schedule service appointments and manage the repair workflow
• Communicate job status, timelines, and estimates to customers
• Review warranties and service contracts for coverage
• Assist with parts ordering and follow-up
• Maintain accurate service records and shop documentation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a truck, diesel, or automotive service environment a plus
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy shop
• Working knowledge of diesel trucks and service processes a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a bonus)

Expected hours: 40 per week
