opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager
to join our team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within a continuously growing company. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for the role of Operations Manager will include: Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to achieve branch KPIs. Use data analysis to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements that enhance productivity, accuracy, and service levels. Actively co-ordinate & assist in daily warehouse duties including picking orders, loading, unloading, goods inwards, stock checking, Oversee warehouse operations including goods in/out, customer loading, and site tidiness. Manage stock levels, rotation, and quality control. Manage & maintain health & safety standards across the site. Manage transport and logistics operations, including vehicle / driver compliance. Monitor and report on branch performance, identifying areas for improvement. What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in operations or warehouse management, ideally in a merchant or trade environment. Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Knowledge of ironmongery products (preferred). Forklift licence and experience (preferred). A hands-on, adaptable approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Commitment to health & safety and operational excellence.
