Job Description
AIR is preparing for growth in 2026 We are adding to several departments in accounting with our anticipated growth. Are you ready to take on a new challenge?
As an Accounting Manager, you will manage a group of accountants and will be responsible for various data gathering, tracking, and record keeping (financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning; preparing of financial schedules, statements, and reports)
Where You Will Work
Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline.
AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support operations.
What You Will Do
- Risk, Capital, and Insurance Accounting: Oversee technical and operational accounting for these workstreams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of accountants by providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and development.
Staff Management: Supervise assigned staff, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and decisions on promotions, terminations, or reassignments.
Financial Management: Direct accounting and financial analysis activities across areas such as auditing, budgeting, cost accounting, general ledger, and program cost control and scheduling.
Reconciliation Oversight: Review and approve
