Our thriving logistics center in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for a meticulous and efficient Order Picker to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will work with a variety of warehouse equipment and systems to ensure that every order is fulfilled correctly and on time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive and review customer orders accurately.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Verify product information and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety regulations.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while on the warehouse floor.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
- The successful candidate must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking and packing targets.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Understand and follow all warehouse procedures and protocols.
- This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning technology are helpful. Must be able to stand, walk, reach, and bend for the duration of the shift. Must be dependable and possess a strong commitment to workplace Safety.
