We are looking for dedicated Order Pickers to join our thriving logistics center in Sacramento, California. As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick and pack items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using scanning equipment and following established procedures. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to Safety. You will be an integral part of our warehouse operations, contributing directly to the satisfaction of our clients. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle moderate physical exertion is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order slips.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as cycle counts.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order slips and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanning devices.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and reach.
- Capability for Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if required.
