Job Summary:
Our Charlotte, North Carolina facility is seeking a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our warehousing and logistics team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our stock levels. Your responsibilities will include performing cycle counts, receiving and stocking inventory, verifying shipment contents, and updating inventory records in our system. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to Safety are essential for success in this role. This position is fundamental to ensuring efficient inventory management and supporting overall supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
  • Track and record inventory movements within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with managing stock rotation (e.g., FIFO) to minimize waste.
  • Ensure all inventory is stored and organized efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly stockroom or warehouse area.
  • Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Tasks may include Lifting of boxes and materials.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics field is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, particularly WMS software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and occasional Lifting.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A strong commitment to Safety in all work activities.
