Your responsibilities will include performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory data, investigating variances, and assisting with physical inventory counts. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work closely with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and operations, to ensure seamless inventory management. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Track and report on inventory levels, stock rotation, and potential shortages.
- Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound inventory movements.
- Process inventory adjustments and transfers.
- Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
