We are looking for motivated Warehouse Associates to join our bustling facility in Houston, Texas. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics hub. Your duties will encompass a range of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses a strong work ethic, and is committed to accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a good understanding of general warehouse procedures. Physical stamina is essential, as this role involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Safety is our highest priority; you will be required to adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick and fill customer orders accurately using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare items for shipping, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and recording.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Follow all instructions from supervisors regarding warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity for frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
