Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily warehouse operations in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is key to overseeing the flow of goods, managing inventory, coordinating staff, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety. You will be responsible for optimizing warehouse processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain management. Your responsibilities will span across receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping activities. You will work to improve workflow, reduce errors, and enhance overall productivity. Maintaining a safe working environment is paramount, and strict adherence to safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is required. This role may involve some physical work, including moderate lifting, so physical capability is beneficial. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure all operations comply with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations.
  • Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  • Handle any operational issues or discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Understanding of logistics best practices and supply chain dynamics.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Ability to perform occasional moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs).
