Proper use of PPE is mandatory for all tasks. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery (e.g., conveyor systems, forklifts, racking).
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with warehouse equipment.
- Install new equipment and ensure proper integration with existing systems.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections of all machinery and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Train warehouse staff on the safe operation and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency equipment failures.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Uphold strict adherence to PPE requirements and work Safety best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with various types of warehouse equipment and Logistics systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Safety procedures in an industrial setting.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting tasks when necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Strong commitment to Safety and preventative maintenance.
