We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our busy facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is vital to the efficiency of our Logistics operations, involving the movement, storage, and organization of materials and products within the warehouse. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, operating material handling equipment, and ensuring that materials are staged correctly for production or shipment. Safety is our top priority, and all employees must strictly adhere to our Safety protocols and wear the necessary PPE. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses good spatial awareness, and has a strong work ethic. Experience with forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a significant advantage. - Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping docks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Organize and stack materials in designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Ensure that all materials are handled in accordance with Safety guidelines.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support Logistics team with various tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Certification to operate forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting and moving of heavy materials (up to 60 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and material flow.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices for material handling.
- Strong physical stamina and coordination.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
