Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and food service, with experience or interest in culinary operations. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, catering, or food handling environments is a plus. Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
• Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and assembly when required
• Ensure proper storage of clean items and organize dishware for efficient kitchen operations
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards
• Assist with catering events or banquet setups by providing clean dishware and utensils
• Support overall kitchen cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or culinary environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks such as bussing or basic food prep
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings or weekends if necessary
