Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to meet their needs effectively
• Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and perform engaging product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain visual merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is tidy and inviting
• Conduct stock replenishment activities, including inventory checks and stocking new merchandise efficiently
• Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support cashiering duties with basic math skills for accurate transactions and change management
• Apply merchandising techniques to attract customer attention and promote ongoing sales campaigns
• Assist in supervising team members when needed, providing guidance on store procedures and customer engagement strategies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse customer groups
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos enhances your effectiveness in the role
