Overview
Guiding Hands ABA Therapy is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing, mission-driven team. This role is ideal for a BCBA who values ethical practice, flexibility, and meaningful clinical work over high-volume, productivity-driven models.
The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and overseeing individualized ABA treatment plans, and collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary partners to support children with autism and other developmental needs. This position offers a low initial caseload, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to grow with an expanding program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Oversee the implementation of ABA programs and provide clinical supervision to RBTs/BTs.
- Review and analyze data to monitor client progress and make treatment adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, enrichment staff, and interdisciplinary partners to support consistency across environments.
- Provide parent training and guidance on behavior strategies and skill generalization.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical, state, and HIPAA requirements.
- Participate in intake assessments, care planning, and periodic treatment reviews.
- Uphold BACB ethical standards and promote high-quality, client-centered care.
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
- Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Georgia.
- Experience providing ABA services to children with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
- Strong competency in assessment, treatment planning, data collection, and clinical documentation.
- Experience supervising and training RBTs/BTs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of BACB ethical standards, HIPAA compliance, and client confidentiality.
- Experience in clinic, home, school, or community-based ABA settings preferred.
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable working in a growing startup environment.
Experience
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience in behavioral therapy, especially working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- Strong background in working with people with developmental disabilities and other behavioral health conditions.
- Demonstrated expertise in data collection, analysis, and documentation related to patient care.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards.
- Experience conducting intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and behavioral health interventions.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical information.
- Prior experience working within special education or behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
