Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschool-aged children
- Teach various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or who require early intervention
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the welfare and progress of each child
- Assess students' progress and communicate with parents about their child's development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Participate in curriculum development and improvement activities
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a daycare or early childhood education setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and learning materials
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
-Possess CDA or Associate Degree, Ancillary Certificate
