Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Farmbrook Interventional Pain and EMG - Southfield, MI
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20 - $23 per hour

Farmbrook Interventional Pain and EMG is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay. Experience working in a pain management setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing patients for examination.
• Draw blood for lab tests as needed.
• Assist physicians during pain injections and other medical procedures.
• Document patient information accurately using EMR.
• Ensure proper handling and sterilization of medical instruments.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-up care.
• Provide patient education on medical procedures and care instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Previous experience in pain management.
• Proficient in Tebra (EMR) or similar Electronic Medical Records systems.
• Ability to draw blood and assist with injections.
• Experience with C-Arm is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
