Position Overview
MNHG Construction is building out its in-house construction division and is seeking a Construction Foreman to serve as the day-to-day, on-site leader across active projects. This role is critical to execution and accountability — the Foreman is the Project Manager's eyes, ears, and hands on the ground, ensuring work is completed correctly, on schedule, and to MNHG standards.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes ownership of job sites, and can lead crews while maintaining clear communication with management.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Leadership & Execution
- Act as the primary on-site representative for MNHG Construction
- Lead daily job site operations and ensure crews are working efficiently
- Enforce scope, plans, and construction standards set by the Project Manager
- Identify issues early and proactively communicate them to the Project Manager
- Self perform work (i.e., General trades work framing, casework, installation of home safety items)
Crew & Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and labor crews on site
- Ensure all trades are following schedules and quality expectations
- Address performance issues immediately and escalate when necessary
- Maintain job site discipline, professionalism, and accountability
Quality Control & Standards
- Inspect work daily to ensure it meets MNHG quality standards
- Verify materials, workmanship, and completed phases before sign-off
- Catch mistakes early to prevent rework, delays, or cost overruns
- Ensure cleanliness of job sites
Schedule & Progress Tracking
- Execute the construction schedule provided by the Project Manager
- Report daily progress, delays, and blockers
- Help the Project Manager keep projects moving forward and on timeline
Safety & Site Management
- Enforce job site safety standards and cleanliness
- Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly handled
- Reduce risk, damage, and liability on all job sites
Communication & Reporting
- Provide consistent updates (daily/weekly) to the Construction PM
- Document progress with photos, notes, and punch-list updates
- Serve as a reliable feedback loop between the field and management
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a construction role
- 2+ years of experience in a management position
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- High level of comfort with technology, automation tools, and AI optimization
- Experience with project management tools
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership
