We are looking for a Food Runner / Busser to join our hospitality team. In this role, you'll be responsible for quickly and accurately delivering orders from the kitchen to our guests. You will also support the service team by keeping things clean and orderly throughout the dining experience.

During peak service periods, you will work quickly and efficiently to serve our guests. You will support your team by keeping all work stations clean, stocked and organized.

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver food to our guests
• Clear and sanitize tables
• Expedite carryout and catering orders
• Promptly clear dirty dishes from tables
• Polish silverware
• Maintain a clean and organized expo line
• Sweep and keep floors clean
• Empty trash cans
• Assist waitstaff as needed
• Maintain bussing stations
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• English fluency required to understand and follow work instructions, read food orders, communicate with staff and customers, and perform job duties.
• Ability to meet all scheduling requirements, which includes working nights, weekends, and holidays.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Handler certification and/ or DLC certification as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, plates, and bus bins up to 35lbs
• Hours will include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Our restaurant is open 12pm - 9pm Thursday to Saturday and 12pm - 6pm on Sundays and Mondays

**The base pay for this role is $12 per hour plus tips (average hourly rate including tips is an estimated $25-$30 per hour).

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
