As a Program Coordinator RN, you will identify, recommend, develop and implement opportunities for our new Ketamine Clinic to positively impact the quality and cost of care for the patients across the hospital system. In this role, your work and collaborating with fellow caregivers directly affects the entire Cleveland Clinic experience for patients, their families and visitors every day. 

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Complete and evaluate nursing care practices, report deficiencies and take corrective action as appropriate. 
  • Identify staff education needs. 
  • Provide input and assists with instruction programs. 
  • Plan and conduct special projects as assigned. 
  • Complete daily activities. 
  • Complete scheduling, assignments, performance evaluations and corrective actions when necessary. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with strong clinical background 
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) 
  • Six years of clinical nurse experience 
  • One year of supervisory experience 
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) 
  • Behavioral health experience  

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires frequent standing and walking.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Works under stressful conditions and requires irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
