The Product Manager is a member of the Innovation Development group and is responsible for managing the vision and execution of product development, design, and execution throughout the entire Product Development Lifecycle. This role coordinates ideation and development activities across cross-functional teams to identify, establish, and seek opportunities to develop and continuously improve products' values and customer impact. This role leads the daily activities of software development teams, ensuring that product development meets the needs and requirements of its end users, and ensuring that Product Lifecycle Management frameworks are followed in order to establish and manage areas such as product strategy, business cases, ROI, documented end user stories and requirements, feature prioritization, roadmap, backlog management, implementation, and support.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in Software Product Development/Management in Healthcare Information Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of business principles, including marketing, finance, and strategy.
  • Working knowledge of software development processes, technologies, and tools.
  • Working knowledge of software product lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Strong knowledge of business case creation.
  • Be able to effectively lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations, including strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead teams using Agile Project Management using Scrum methodologies.
  • Adept at market analysis and research.
  • Adept at Buy, Partner, or Build Analysis.
  • Strong ability to manage processes and influence up.
  • Self-starter with ability to make independent decisions, keeping management informed and involved as appropriate.
  • Ability to develop, support, and communicate strategic direction, vision, and scope of capabilities for product market, including 3rd party partnership opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize a roadmap from disparate sources: bug fixes, end user requests, new features that expands the revenue generation potential, using product management best practice frameworks.
  • Ability to define functional requirements, including user stories, for the assigned product portfolio.

  • Product Go-To-Market Plan and execution.
  • Product Performance monitoring and optimization.
  • Stakeholder and cross functional team management and collaboration.
  • Product financial management (against budget and ROI analysis).
  • Documentation and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
