Phlebotomist

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients in a safe, efficient, and professional manner
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and documentation of specimens
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of equipment and work area
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
• Travel to outside medical offices within the Jacksonville, FL region to perform phlebotomy services
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to ensure a positive experience
• Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist required, prefer at least 6 months
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Flexibility to travel within the Jacksonville, FL region as needed
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
