Overview
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care across diverse medical settings. Duties

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
  • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health challenges by implementing tailored care plans.
  • Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts and catheter care devices safely and effectively to prevent injury or infection.
  • Assist with procedures like phlebotomy and aseptic techniques in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, or home care environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care units like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers to deliver comprehensive patient service and ensure safety during emergencies or critical situations.

Skills

  • Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (ICU, emergency medicine), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices such as aseptic technique.
  • Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and recognize abnormal findings requiring immediate attention.
  • Experience caring for patients with complex needs such as memory care (Alzheimer's/dementia), behavioral health issues, or disabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical procedures including catheter care, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS).
  • Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with children and seniors in settings like pediatrics or geriatrics while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
