Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with a focus on delivering comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. As an Associate Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental services, performing procedures across various specialties, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. Duties

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and oral surgery with precision and professionalism.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation, scheduling, and treatment planning.
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Take and interpret dental radiographs and medical imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental health.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment practicing four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality of medical records and sensitive information.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Manage dental office operations efficiently while providing exceptional patient care in accordance with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
  • Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other complex procedures confidently.
