Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, licensed On-Call Commercial Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to urgent plumbing needs at commercial properties, including office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, and other business environments. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues quickly and efficiently, while adhering to all local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency and on-call plumbing service requests.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems in commercial settings.
- Install, maintain, and repair pipes, valves, drainage systems, and other plumbing components.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide clear documentation of work performed, including parts used and time on-site.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Communicate effectively with Company Management, clients, and team members.
Requirements:
- Valid and current plumbing license in the state of Connecticut.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing (on-call or emergency response experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and commercial building infrastructure.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to read blueprints
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (confined spaces, rooftops, etc.).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Backflow certification or additional plumbing endorsements.
- Experience with large-scale plumbing systems, including boilers, grease traps, and fire suppression systems.
- OSHA 10 certification required
