Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a breakfast environment, and possess a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast meals that meet dietary requirements and cater to our diverse clientele. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for catering events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
• Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or dietary department setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for cooking and helping others through meal preparation.
