Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant and cafe operations with passion and precision. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who can inspire teams, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, team leadership, and restaurant operations, with a focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences across casual, fast food, or fine dining environments. As the face of the restaurant, you will oversee daily activities, uphold food safety standards, manage budgets, and foster a vibrant team culture that encourages growth and excellence.
Duties
- Lead and motivate restaurant staff to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Manage financial aspects such as budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to maximize profitability.
- Implement staff training programs focused on food handling, safety procedures, POS systems (Toast POS), and customer service excellence.
- Supervise kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking processes, and food production to ensure consistency and quality.
- Conduct staff interviews, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing performance evaluations to build a strong team.
- Maintain excellent customer relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
- Oversee bar operations including our Cafe barista services and catering functions .
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation practices across all departments.
- Collaborate with vendors for inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs effectively.
- Oversee all levels of marketing including in house, social media and external internal and external promotions
Skills
- Proven management experience within the food industry, especially in quick service or fine dining environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and developing staff through training & development initiatives.
- Expertise in food handling, preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints professionally and maintain guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of inventory control practices to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and performing financial analysis related to restaurant operations.
- Ability to oversee multiple departments including food production, catering services, bar operations, and banquet experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shift schedules effectively while ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Pay: $62, $75,074.91 per year
