Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales
• Work with Toast POS
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at shift end using retail math skills
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or small plates in a nightclub or banquet setting
• Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly and adhere to all legal requirements related to serving alcohol

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of Toast POS system a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests
• Experience in Bartending required
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling, retail math, and food industry calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality environments
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
• Familiarity with hospitality business and food/bar industry required
