Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, possess strong knowledge of beverage preparation, mixology, and thrive in fast-paced environments such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role requires excellent multitasking skills, proficiency with POS systems, and a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing drink orders and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
• Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while ensuring timely service during busy hours.
• Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and recognizing intoxication signs.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service support during events like banquets or catering functions.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menus, including brewing options, cocktail recipes, and wine selections.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math is preferred.
• Fine dining experience or nightclub background is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in serving, food handling, and food safety practices.
• Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous.
• Strong skills in time management, sales, customer service, and basic math are essential for success in this role.
