Roots Dental Salem is happy to be opening a position for a Dental Assistant/EFDA. Our practice is growing and we are looking for people that are excited about the dental industry and a very diverse work day. We have multiple doctors that perform general dentistry to advanced implantology. Tuesday - Friday work week. Full time with great benefits and a bonus program.

In the last two years our bonus program has paid each employee $4000+ per year in addition to their hourly rate.

Skills/requirements we are looking for in a candidate:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Accredited Dental Assisting Program or equivalent completion, required.
• Newly graduated dental assistants are invited to apply
• EFDA appreciated
• X-Ray certification required (RDA).
• Dental terminology and software knowledge helpful. (Open Dental)
• Ability to multi-task and anticipate upcoming needs for provider
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, can you communicate well with a patient?
• Ability to work well under pressure work with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
• Dependability strongly desired and needed for this position
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and rules.
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a team

CDA/RDA License Required:
