Role Overview

We are seeking a
Senior Solution Architect
to evaluate, design, and guide the development of secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications. This role requires strong hands-on architecture experience across
Java/.NET, web technologies, CRM systems, databases, and cloud platforms
, along with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a government environment.

The architect will own
current-state assessment
,
future-state architecture
, and
technical guidance
throughout implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and document
  current-state application architecture
• Collaborate with technology leadership, design teams, and business stakeholders to define
  future-state architecture
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate
  architectural patterns, frameworks, tools, and technologies
• Design and architect
  secure, scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications
• Produce
  architecture blueprints, system design documents, and technical specifications
• Guide development teams through implementation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• Identify and remediate
  design flaws, performance bottlenecks, and system risks
• Review static and dynamic security vulnerabilities (e.g.,
  Veracode
  ) and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support
  ADA compliance
  across application layers
• Ensure adherence to
  best practices, standards, and security requirements
• Provide ongoing architectural oversight and technical leadership

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years
  of overall IT experience
• 8+ years
  of experience in
  solution architecture and system design
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java and/or .NET
• Enterprise application architecture and implementation
• 5+ years
  of experience in:
• Application development, design, testing, and implementation
• Databases:
  Oracle and/or SQL Server
• Writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
• Strong expertise in
  web and UI technologies
  , including:
• Angular
• JavaScript
• Microservices
• APIs / Web Services
• JSP, Spring, Hibernate, JPA
• 5+ years
  of experience with
  WebLogic 14c and/or Apache Tomcat
• Experience creating:
• System architecture diagrams
• Design documents
• Technical documentation (Visio required)
• Working knowledge of
  DevOps, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with
  cloud platforms
  : AWS and/or Azure
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years
  of experience with CRM platforms such as:
• Microsoft Dynamics
• Salesforce
• Experience working in
  government or public-sector environments
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 35 hours per week (1-hour unpaid lunch)
• Hybrid:
  3 days onsite / 2 days remote
