Bartender

Job Overview
Beyond is a members only Bourbon bar with a speakeasy feel and located at 1405 N Green Mount Road, Suite 550, IL 62269 at the top of the blade building. While serving a wide variety of bourbon we are also a full service bar with a extensive wine and cocktail list. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bartenders and servers to join our exclusive team and cater to the needs of our members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
• Adhere to all food safety and health regulations while preparing drinks and serving food items.
• Operate the POS system efficiently for processing orders and payments (experience with Toast POS is a positive).
• Uphold a positive atmosphere by interacting with guests in a friendly manner while managing time effectively during busy periods.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience in a fine dining or nightclub environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to enhance the guest experience.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
